Can you tell me more about the performance of the Hellcat?

The supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat V8 engine that powers the Durango SRT Hellcat cranks out 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. The incredible power that is coming from the Hellcat engine allows the SUV to go from a dead stop to sixty miles per hour in 3.5-seconds. If you're looking to hit the drag-strip up and race your Durango SRT Hellcat, you'll make it down the quarter-mile in an elapsed time of 11.5 seconds. The National Hot Rod Association has certified that time. Are you curious how the SRT Hellcat compares to the SRT 392? Well, Dodge was too, so they raced the two Durango models on a 2.1-mile road course, and they found that the Hellcat ran 1.5-seconds faster than the SRT 392. That equates to a nine-car lead after just a single lap.

What does the Hellcat have for performance improvements?

The Durango SRT Hellcat has several performance improvements, including a new chin splitter, an air guide and snorkel for cold air induction, an updated engine oil cooler duct, and a new front fascia design. When you compare the SRT 392 to the SRT Hellcat, you'll find the SRT Hellcat has several upgrades, including an upgraded suspension system that delivers more grip with reduced understeer by 2.5 percent. This allows you to enter into a corner and exit a corner faster than ever before. The SRT Hellcat also comes with electric power steering with selectable steering.

What does the Hellcat have for features?

The cockpit of the Durango SRT Hellcat has been specifically designed for the driver. The largest-in-class 10.1-inch touchscreen is angled 7-degrees towards the driver so you can easily check out the performance pages, adjust the temperature, and check on directions. The Durango SRT Hellcat comes outfitted with a new flat-bottom performance steering wheel that has paddle shifters mounted on it so you can take control of when the SRT Hellcat shifts.
